• Excellent Hotel ( reviewed 3rd October 2011 )
  We stayed here for 3 nights the hotel was in a perfect location easily accessible if traveling without a car and relying on public transport.. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful to all of our needs.. would most defiantly stay here again thanks for a great few days 
• “Fantastic Hotel - Def use again......”
  Could not wish for a better hotel. Fantastic position right next to the entrance to the old town and only 5 minutes from the beautiful lake promenade. The staff are so friendly and helpful and even recommended and booked restaurants for us that were excellent and good value for money. Although basic, the rooms were clean and new towels provided each day. We opted for a Comfort Double, which was more than adequate for our needs. For us this hotel offered superb value for money and Salo is a fantastic place to use as a base. The breakfast was also excellent and can certainly set you up for the day. We will definitely be going back and recommending the Hotel Eden to friends and family..

  Right in the heart of the town, very helpful and friendly stuff, good breakfast. Room was clean, well-equipped, aircondition and with small nice balcony to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Also they have an agreement on prices with some parkings - so you can park pretty cheap, like 4 EUR / night. Overall we were very pleased staying at this hotel.
• On Tripadvisor ( 19 May 2010 ) My wife and I stayed in a superior double room, with a dream view overlooking the square and the lake.
  The hotel staff are extremely helpful, give good advice and speak fluent English.
  Breakfasts are marvellous.
  Everything is very clean.
  I especially appreciated the small touches, such as the provision of a complementary disposable razor and bedroom slippers.
  The hotel is only a couple of minutes from the bus-stop, so access is very simple, and it is easy to catch a bus to other lakeside venues.
  Highly recommended.

  From the minute I received an email back from Mauro almost immediately I had booked I felt this would be a great stopover. Mauro and his family have put a lot of effort into this old hotel to bring it up to date. Rooms are clean and basic and quite small if you take the cheaper ones, but everything is there and it works. There is a garage which you can book at extra charge, but this is pretty small so get in quick when you book as the spaces go fast. The downstairs bar is plain but nice and you are right on the main street if you sit at one of the two tables outside and watch the world go by. Salo is a lovely place for wandering along the lakeside and loads of nice restaurants. Mauro speaks about 5 languages really well and can help you with any queries. Breakfast room was on the upper floor and was fine. Typical type of continental buffet fare but quite adequate. Mauro will be there rushing around and making sure all is well! If you want a central hotel in the town and a reasonably-priced place with few frills but excellently run - take this one.

  Nice people who speak fluent English, basic room, good beds, bathroom ok, quiet, surprising elegant breakfastroom & great breakfast. Location of hotel is firstrate, Salò is a wonderful Garda lake resort with a beautiful boulevard, Art Nouveau & exciting panoramas!

  Only a brief visit but we experienced excellent friendly attention and advice given by staff and an excellent location relative to price. Good suggestions for dinning and helpful advice regarding our itinerary. The romms for a family were very comfortable.
